Can't remember who posted saying they could not get hold of Interstain. It is true that it is very hard to get hold off as they dont make it anymore, but I found some at MarineMegastore.com

Thank you for a kind thought. I ordered a couple of cans on the site, gave them a credit card number etc and rcvd the following reply:
Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately Interstain mahogany is currently unavailable from International. They have as alternatives the Sikkens Cetol range feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions. Please ensure that your reply to this ticket includes the email address sales@marinemegastore.com otherwise it may not re-enter our ticket system. Sincerely, Richard
I pointed out that it had to be Interstain as I was half way through a job but it seems it was just an an out of date website. Thanks for your kind thought anyway. Old Frank

Well I got nothing of the sort. I have been chasing why my delivery has not come for a couple of weeks now and they juts sent me an e-mail telling me they have refunded me! Honestly - I am half-way through a job too!

I have always used Sikkens Cetol on Kala Sona and have always been satisfied. The product was recommended to me by John Robertson in Gosport Boat Yard eight years ago and I have not been disappointed. Lasts a long time provided you follow the instructions on the tin! You will also need the Sikkens brand of thinners to degrease the surface and to clean your brushes.
