I have just got a Marieholm 26 otherwise call International Folkboat. Has anyone had experience of these?

I've had no experience of them at all, but I would like to. One of the prettiest boats on the water; they always make me smile contentedly when I see them.

Marieholm 26 is based on the IF but with higher topsides and slightly longer. They are not identical. More here http://www.solopublications.com/sailmarie.htm#marie26

I agree the M26 & IFboat are lovely, and a delight to see.
However unless things have changed both were considered 'illegal' under Folkboat racing rules so One Design racing would be out ?
Some of the most 'spirited' sailors ( anyone remember John Foster & Wind Willow ? ) I've ever had the honour to sail with were Folkboat people !
