Hi All,
Any clues on this?
Charge alarm goes off. Engineer suggests replacing alternator. Did that.
However still have issue; symptoms are;
- Only when engine warm
- Have a Sterling Smart regulator that I have disabled by removing connections
- Voltage varies at the panel and D post from 8 ~ 14v. Anything below 10v and it alarms
- B+ post seems to be fine at 14v odd
- Is intermittent - sometimes always on, otherwise only blips
- There is only 2 wires to the D post - the exciter wire (to 33ohm resistor) and the wire to the alarm panel
