I know this topic has been discussed many times but here’s my issue.

We installed our simrad go9 xse chartplotter and p66 transducer 5 years ago. It has never been able to provide a clear screen when my boat is running with the main motor. Yamaha 150 on a 2019 kingfisher falcon.

I thought it was due to wires running along the gunnel but I removed the transducer and laid it in the center of my boat to the chart plotter and had same issue. When I run my 9.9 kicker I have 0 issues even if I go as fast as possible (5.1mph) no issues. As soon as I start my main I get a few vertical lines but then go away if I put it in gear they show up but go away. Then once I start going around 7mph they show up again and get worse the faster I go. The vertical lines stop as soon as I kill the main and I’m still going 10 mph so I don’t think it’s the depth of my p66 in the water. It is 1/2 inch on the deep side and angled forward. I have 2 batteries that run to a switch with 1-2-1&2 settings and any setting the interference doesn’t change. I don’t have a fuse panel, everything has individual fuses. I plan on installing a fuse box and grounding bus bar and redoing all my connections. Is there anything else you can think of doing?
