Interfacing Radar with GPS

I am trying to interface my Garmin 128 GPS with a JRC 1800 radar via the NMEA interface.

I have already set the interface of the Garmin 128 to 'none/NMEA' and the Radar is set to 'Position In NMEA'

The connections out of the Radar are marked: Data - output
Data + Output
Data Input
Data Common

The connections out of the GPS are marked: 12v +
Ground -
NMEA out
NMEA in

Any help regarding connections and settings will be much appreciated.
