i have a VDO water gauge
which needs 4-20 mA to be able to sense water level

the pressure gauge varies its voltage from around 1.6 to 3.0 V when connected to my water tank outlet
i can not reach the top of my tank to fit a resistance sensor for the water level

(i have a water pressure gauge that is connected to an arduino which has been programmed to convert the pressure gauge 1.6-3.0V to 0.5-5.0V)

i am no electronic engineer, how can i interface the pressure gauge to the VDO ?

Tricky, done the opposite on arduinos, read a 4-20mA sender to interpret values and display them as NMEA2K.
You have to tune the Arduino right and then wire it to the gauge.
Pretty sure there are YouTube videos on that but I'm on the boat with crappy access to my bookmarks.
