Interfacing a CP180 chart plotter?

I've just bought a Standard Horizon CP180 chart plotter. It has 2 NMEA inputs and 3 outputs, and I first planned to connect them to a PC and other instruments as follows:

NMEA Common: PC DB9 Pin 5
Port 1 Input: PC DB9 Pin 3
Port 1 Output: PC DB9 Pin 2
Port 2 Input: See below
Port 2 Output: VHF + NavTex
Port 3 Output: Other instruments

Then it occurred to me that I may be able to feed the other instruments back into the spare input, and get the wind and depth gauges to talk to it.

Any thoughts?

Seatalk and NMEA are not compatible unless you buy the Raymarine seatalk to nmea converter which is very pricey. Some later raymarine instruments do have nmea also.
