An oldie being lifted for cleaning yesterday at my local marina, and not before time!
I was expecting to see a shaft drive, however the prop is run from a vertical hydraulic motor with some sort of bevel gear behind the prop,it can also turn 360 deg!!
The aid of a large bow thruster allowed the owner to place her with pinpoint accuracy.
In 3 years I've never seen her taken out to sea,and this was the one of the few times I've seen the owner,I would love to know the history?
Any ideas ??
OH and its an all steel construction.
