Twice now I have had a 'mystery' start problem with my Eber.
On the first occasion almost by chance whilst checking every other possible source of the snag I disconnected the exhaust....and found it full of water.
During a 10 day trip just completed the unit refused to start again despite plenty of power so i went straight to the exhaust again....once again full of water in the swan neck.
The unit was professionally installed by Kruger but the exhaust is on the side of the boat rather than the transom, so i guess that on a stbd tack in certain sea conditions it can 'slop' in water.
Anyway I thought I would share that piece of info.
