Listed with no reserve and what's with the step in the cabin sole?

What a fugly boat! It seems to have been for sale since at least Sep 2015, originally offered at £110K. Then reduced to £75K. Then put on eBay.

Hammerhead 35 by Gower Yachts (At London Boatshow, 20110

Gower Yachts are one of Britain’s newest racer/cruiser yacht design and manufacturing companies and have launched with this rather exciting pocket rocket. Like a lot of recent performance craft of this size it is designed with a very beamy transom and a massive asymmetric spinnaker. However, what puts this yacht apart from the others in the market is that Gower have fitted a canting keel allowing them to fit larger rig than their competitors; mix this with its striking sharp lines leading to a plumb bow and you have a recipe for success. On top of all the speed and thrills with the Hammerhead 35 Gower “does not compromise luxury”. But all this high-end spec comes at a price… a whopping £340,000. Still, I’m very excited about having a good look around!

Ah - presumably the mechanism for that explains the raised cabin sole.

Actually it looks like a very innovative and intelligent boat in many ways - though perhaps too innovative for the U.K. market.
Wide bow and spray rails should keep crew dry when sailing at speed, upright due to swing keel (which presumably explains the step in the cabin sole, to allow for keel ram etc). Good visibility from cabin with large windows.

Would probably be easier to sell in France or NZ, where people like fast cruisers and prepared to be different (eg RM, JPK etc), rather than in retro UK where anything different is clearly a bad thing

Looks like twin rudders if you look carefully at the photo.

one of which is presumably hiding behind the keel in the photo. The other appendage forward of the keel looks like a canard to help directional stability at speed in a seaway.
