Hi!
Does anybody have any experience re-tubing an intercooler matrix on a TAMD60b? so far all new tubes in place, successfully joined and airtight (60 psi) to bottom, but top plate doesnt like same Flux? any advice welcome (within reason:-o)))) of course!).

Do have an Idea and know the theory, but have always just given whole thing to radiator specialist to sort. Which they do for not many pound notes, contact one through your local yellow pages, the smaller one bads are much better than the Sercks.

Thanks for your replies!

Marlec I have used in the past.

Mike Bellamy what can I say? Mr Marine Motor! great guy. May bother him if I need too

small radiator people Ok for just that, but I am afraid that they will use wrong system which is what happened to a boat we once rebuilt an engine on, After a Matrix let go. A large repairer (Whos name I know ) repaired the matrix and it was later found to be soldered with ordinary solder which gave out after 5 months in salt water.
