Hiya,
Have been insured with AXA via Mardon marine last year, but this year had a cheaper quotee from Haven Knox Johnson via Cheers Brokers.
Anyone had any dealings with these company's?

Ive had my fishing boat insured through HKJ for the past 7 years, at prices below the competition. Last year the boat was broken into and running gear damaged by the tea leaves. To their credit HKJ paid in full and I still have my no-claims bonus!

Thanks for the responses, after speaking to Cheers insurance brokers about teh HKJ policy, they told me i get a 10% discount for moody ownership, BUT they wanted extra premium for crossing and even coasthopping biscay. There initial quote was £387, £55 cheaper than AXA at Mardon.
After speaking to Mardon, they would give me biscay cover at the same cost, £442.
So i have sstuck with Mardon marine. WHO i must say the 3 people i spoke to there were very helpful, and very understanding of me needs, which was one of the reaasons i went with them last year. They seem to have continued thier good cusstomer service.
then again i ain't had a claim yet!!!

regards
Roy
