Since I may be short of crew to put on 'fridge watch' on my impending Ouse trip, I thought it best to get around to advising the insurers about the new engine, and up the value correspondingly.
Not so simple it turns out.
They will only up the value £3K without a proper valuation.
I hope that it's increase in value is at least the £6.75K net cost of the project, and I'm pretty sure it's extra worth even a bit more than that now I've ditched the petrol BM's and gone diesel.
Has anyone got any ideas about getting a valuation on the cheap?
