insurance in the med

We have just been quoted 320 pounds full cover 200 pounds 3rd party for insurance,sailing area tunisia,sardinia greece etc
does this sound reasonable,boat 32' 30 years old approx,
some no claims bonus,never claimed for anything.any thoughts or is there a cheaper way by using local inurance companies?

I assume you have shopped around the companies. Price doesn't seem too bad to me. Don't know about local companies, but I would be wary.

What value have you put on your boat? Insurance companies seem to work on a %age of value. Mine is 0.76% with 1 year no claims with Pantaenius fully comp.

i think the value was about 30,000 pouds

just over 1% then. May be worth shopping around. St Margarets would have done mine for 0.65%.

Having said that, higher values may attract a lower percentage - who knows?
