Just had my renewal quote. Ive seen a few people posting that their boat insurance has dropped the last few years.
Mine has gone up or stayed the same.
This year after another years ncb, it exactly the same to the nearest penny.
Have many people experienced a drop in theirs??

With GJW I have experienced small variations up and down over the ten years I have used them. It's hovered between £130 and £140 or so for £29000 of cover.

I moved from GJW to Pantaenius last year, so not quite like for like.

Reasons for moving, a much bigger sailing area, north of the Faroes to Morocco and most of the Med, the removal of the 12 nm offshore limit unless 'on passage', which to my mind is a rather fuzzy definition and inclusion of an outboard and dinghy in the fee.

Im on £250 for £33k total,(boat, contents, dinghy, outboard etc). only difference is all year in water, single handed and night use. shouldn't be a problem on a 1992 34ft ketch.???

You can see from my signature that I'm on a narrowboat and dont go far at all. However, when I was on the high seas I used Pantaenius, and would probably do so again.
