I was considering fitting an element to my cool the box built into the galley but with a bottle of frozen water it stays cool for 2 days anyway. So I thought I'd wrap it in some insulation and maybe get 3 days instead.

Can anyone recommend any self adhesive insulation which I can just wrap around and stick to the outside of the cool box under the counter? Ideally no thicker thn about an inch.

Merci!

I have just completed a cool box replacement using Celotex and found it great, but it comes in solid sheets so you could end up with voids? If you intend to keep your existing cool box, you could wrap that B&Q Cellular Radiator Wall Insulation ( which comes in 1M rolls ) around several times which would be an improvement then you could make it as thick as you want just tape the last layer.

Best of luck with it, it can only be better with more insulation of any sort.
