I have a boat which has the instrument panel in a pod above the hatch, which is quite common on Yachts. The instruments are round and analogue but some of them have stopped working and cannot be repaired. I want to replace them but can only find the modern standard square sort which are digital and I would prefer to replace like with like. Any suggestions as to where to look?

I have the same problem on my CO32, so to avoid buying a new console I'm going to cover the front of the existing one in nice varnished teak and then cut new holes as necessary.

The added benefit is that rather than remove the whole console I can just unscrew the teak panel on the front to access behind.

Hope this helps. G

From memory I think they are Mariner Electronics made in the late 70's early 80's.
The windspeed and direction work fine but I cannot get water speed to work and I don't have the box of tricks to make the sounder work. They are all round analogue instruments which seem to fit in well with the age of the boat and I'm reluctant to go done the road of the industry standard square ones. Surely there must be someone out there who makes what I want.

Ted.
