Having recently bought a Sadler 29 with a dubious set of instruments and no handbooks or info of any sort, I'm at a loss as to how to calibrate or set up the depth alarms and depth setting. The boat has a set of Installec log/depth/wind speed and direction instruments which seem to work OK but the depth does over-read by 0.3 of a metre. I know this is on the safe side but I do prefer to be accurate.
Does any body have any info or a handbook I can get a copy of as I don't want to change these instruments for an updated system when they seem to work OK (at the present moment in time!!)
