A series of copper fiction set in Victorian times. No nautical content I'm afraid, except set in Leith docklands.
I'm enjoying them enormously: there's guest appearances by Gladstone, Wm McGonnagal, Conan Doyle and more - rather tongue in cheek.
Despite throats getting slit and constant rain the writing has a pawky humour and vey good turn of phrase
