Good afternoon,
Whilst rounding up available propulsion systems for a project a distant memory came back to me of a system that a company based at Saxon Wharf in Southampton were developing around 2000/ 2003.
As I remember it it was a (very) large surface piercing prop on a 30 ft or so orange motorboat, almost a paddle wheel mounted on the transom.
I guess if it had been a success it would have been available by now but I wondered what the principle behind it was and how far they got.
Anyone have any information or even remember it?
All the best.
