Dear All,
Just a reminder that if you have an ISatphone Pro Satellite Phone, you MUST update the firmware:
Features introduced in firmware v 5.3.0 are vitally important for continued use of the IsatPhone Pro service in 2014, following enhancements being made to the IsatPhone Pro network.
These enhancements require changes to the network which are scheduled to take place in January and February, during the weeks commencing:
13 January – I-4A F4 Alphasat (Europe, Middle East and Africa region)
27 January – I-4 F3 (Asia-Pacific)
10 February – I-4 F1 (Americas)
No service outages are anticipated during the network changes.
However, please note, IsatPhone Pro handsets not upgraded to firmware version v 5.3.0 will no longer be able to register with the network after these changes have been carried out and will be unable to make or receive calls.
IsatPhone Pro users must upgrade to firmware version v 5.3.0 now, if they have not already done so.
