Is there any way to disable the bleeding alarm (from the locking mechanism) and the fact that the doors all lock automatically after 30 seconds whether or not I want them to - even when the doors are open!?
Its one of those too-clever-by-half 'security' features that is making my life a misery.
If I lock the car with say a dog or a child in it, then the sensor picks up the dog's movement and sets off the alarm.
If I close the driver's door with the car-keys still in the car (but not in the ignition), then the doors auto-lock and I can't get back in!
I live in an almost crime-free area and hardly ever leave the car in one.
I'm thinking of selling what is otherwise a very good vehicle.
