Since I'm a Hunter Association member, I have just checked. There are precisely three messages in the Medina 20 forum, the most recent of which is six months old, and says that the forum exists. I don't think anyone has every used it - the other two messages are years old and transferred from a general forum.

There is little else on the HA website, but a note that PBO reviewed the Medina in June 2008.

The Medina Forum has been fickle and irregular for a number of years, which is a shame as a number of people have really tried very hard to make it work.

Can I suggest you pose your actual question on this forum and the members will see what they can do to help as a number have owned Medinas in the past, or might still do! My wife and I had one for 5 years as our first boat and we did many a cruise to Ireland and around the Solent, plus raced at Scottish Series, Round the Island, Windermere Winter Series etc. Boat lived in North Wales or on a trailer at home in Cheshire

Sessanta,

do post again mentioning Medina lift keel in the new thread title; there is a forumite here who has one ( I believe the lift keelers were relatively rare ? ) - he was asking me as I have a lift keel boat, apparently the Medina keel assembly has an uplock bolt to fit on the mooring, his threads had gone so was wondering if just a straight bar will do, to which my answer was yes as it's what I've used for years...
