about availability and prices of swinging moorings in the Clyde area. I.e. Bute, Arran etc. Need to be reachable from Gourock, Weymss Bay, Largs etc.

You can take your pick, really. I keep my boat at Kames in the Kyles - reachable by road via Loch Lomond or - by ferry via Dunoon.

Cardwell Bay, Gourock
Royal Gourock Yacht Club
Holy Loch
Rothesay
Port Banatyne
Toward
Colintraive
Loch Striven
Tighnabruaich
Kames
All within an hour or so from Glasgow Airport.
