Info on Wavey rider needed!

Hi all, can anyone give me any kind of info on a boat we have just purchased to restore, all I can tell you is that it is probably a 1980's manufacture and a small metal plate tells us that it originates from the Wavey Rider marine ltd, Tollesbury.Essex.
I would love to find out some history about her, she has a number of WR1074 but that is all, we don't even know what model she is, she's a 17ft 2 berth cruiser/fishing boat?
I have read somewhere that the manufacturer is now called Mayland boats, not sure if this is correct, any advice or information you can give me would be greatly recieved,

Name sounds vaguely familiar but can't say more.
Why not ring Tollesbury Marina and ask them? They were very nice people when we stayed there.
