Info on 60\'s boats

Does anybody have any info or pictures of Fibreglass norwegian boats of the early 60's, in particular Windy Boats, Arendals, Polar and ANCAS, I have spent 3 years trying to identify my baot and have been told by Volvo-Penta, that it could be one of the afore mentioned, however, I cannot source any info on them

Re: Info on 60\'s boats

I have a Danish boat called a Coronet - the reason I'm saying this is because there are several scandanavian websites with info about my boat and that hails from the 60's ... if you haven't tried yet then search for windy and norway and take it from there?

Hello Bernard, I have owned three( Four) Norwegian boats. Two of them were built on an island off Norway in 1966. These were used as postboats. One is fitted with a Volvo 95a 1800cc single carb and driving a Volvo 100 outdrive. They both have the builders plaque at the bottom of the widscreen. This surround is topped all round with teak. One boat was a Windy.I have owned 140 odd boats in 35 years. Twenty odd of these have been wooden, built by some of the most famous yards in the Uk and USA. The rest have been GRP from different companies up to 65ft down to 13ft 6in. Best Wishes Marinejob
