Looked at them at LIBS, new to me but looked to be good quality & well thought out, on the face of it at least.

Hi,
We own an Excel....I think an SD260 off the top of my head, but its one of the airdeck ones. It's now 3 years old and has been ace. We had had no problems with it and trust me the kids have done there best to kill it!!! It cleans up each season and is still as good as new.

Err....the kids get splashed and want to go even faster!!!
Seriously, it copes very well for such a small dingy, it flexes a little, but then a gain it will with the inflatable floor...but with you looking at a larger one that might not be such an issue. Excel...I bought it from them direct...was very helpful, midlands based at a marina, maybe if you give them a call they could give you an on water trial?? They did me a very good deal with an outboard and it all arrived next day!! No connection to them but credit where credits due....and as it wasn't that expensive I figured if the dingy only lasted 3 years it would still be money well spent.....and 3 years on it's still as good as new!!!
