Inflatable Fender Valves

I'm sure this has come up before, but search feature is not giving me any help I'm afraid, so, I have an inflatable fender that deflates in a day. Leak is at the valve. Is it possible to remove and replace valve? It looks as though it's moulded in and therefore not repairable, but has anyone had any success with a repair on these? I've tried ptfe tape on the dust plug that protects the valve, but no joy with this approach.

Successful solutions anyone please or is it a case of replace?

Squirt some liquid soap into the valve. This is the cure that is mentioned often.
