PVC?

Think Maxxon inflatables are made with PVC coated fabric, if so you could use lots of proprietary cleaners (or even wipe it over quickly with white spirit). If you're not sure whether it's PVC, best to use a proper inflatable boat cleaner which shouldn't harm PVC or Hypalon fabrics. Polymarine sells a range of inflatable products, including a cleaner. They also sell a sealer (Sealflex) which will supposedly cure small leaks.

Lots of washing up liquid in not much water, sponge all over the boat, any leaks will create bubbles. Could also help with cleaning the inflatable!

One of the 'popular' pro RIB cleaner seems to be suspiciously like Mr Muscle. Works quite well, seems to be a caustic type chemical.

You need RIB Shine available from Viking Lifesaving Equipment.

Fairy Liquid mixed with water all over the boat look for bubbles. Once you have found the leak either take it to a professional repair center or do a DIY repair if you want to get your fingers sticky :)

Be careful about using solvents on PVC, some solvents will eat the fabric!
