No, not an anarchist bomb, but that awful Condor seacat making a racket all flipping night.

All the boats around me were complaining about it and it makes a sick joke of Weymouths notice not to run generators or auxiliary equipment after 10pm.

When are they going to do something about it? In time for the Olympics perhaps?

At least Weymouth Quay is far from quiet (noise wise) all through the summer

For me it's when you choose the relative quiet of St PP and the outer pontoons - and the Condor, and to be fair other ferries, rumble and clank.....

Still. I've yet to meet the Condor in Newtown Creek - although obviously it turns up in Poole Harbour!

Just in time

That worked!.....I'm back in the room...

now let's talk tumble driers!.....mmmmmmm.....toasty!

OP is absolutely correct. Condor generator or whatever ruins Weymouth harbour in evening and at night. We moved round to The Cove, but it's not much better.

No excuse for it at all. Shore power could easily be used. Condor seem to have nothing but contempt for the neighbours.

Same in Poole. Condor cat is really loud when parked up.

The Poole vessel is even larger then the one at Weymouth and so even louder.

I am not clear what needs to run that is so loud? Generators?

In Poole, there is probably a reluctance to say anything because locally they have no wish to lose the Condor cat because they would then lose the dock jobs.

Fair enough I guess.

Ear plugs may be the only answer.

Cheers
