Induction Hob in Lidl

Did look at this and consider it for a moment.

Trouble is might need to replace all the old pans on board

Also could it run off the generator, if I got one of those?

We cooked on one for 4 months while having a kitchen water leak sorted out. It works very well, I"m not so sure you could manage on a boat though. OK while alongside with shore power, but what about at sea? I'l stick with my 2 burner Calor cooker.

Gary, new Rafiki has a double induction hob built in. Works really well. However, we have a gennie for those occasions when we are away from Shorepower.

I have an induction hob and microwave/grill on board and it is a brilliant combination. Got rid of the combi gas/radiant electric hob leaving me with extra work surface and storage underneath. The induction hob, which is surprisingly lightweight, is put away in a locker after use. My boat is only 27ft so every inch of workspace/storage is a bonus.
