Increased alarm volume

Is there any way to increase the volume of the alarms on my Corus instruments? Possibly to the level that will wake me.

I am not keen on taking them apart and fitting a siren in place of the buzzer, but is there a better way?

Is there a device that can read the nema and sound a wake up call?

Do you know if they actually output an NMEA sentence when the alarm sounds? If so do you know what the sentence is?

Unfortunately NMEA is not rich in alarm sentences but I am interested to know of any used, even proprietary sentences.

Is the alarm integral or an external sounder that could be changed? Maybe a relay and a bigger buzzer?
