I have a Colvic Seaworker (22') and intend up grading the Inboard from 50HP. We currently use it for fishing but the kids want to know if we can power it enough to let them Water Ski. Hence the questions from a boat owner of 2 yrs with little experience. What HP will give me what speeds and what speed gets a water skier up? Any recommendatios for best Inboards to buy?

I am prepared to be corrected by someone more knowledgeable but it is my belief the the Colvic Seaworker's hull has a maximum design speed of 12 knots. Ergo no matter what you fit you will not achieve water skiing speeds.

At last, something I know about.
Friend owned one of these (his father still does) and prior to buying it we went and looked at one with a bigger engine. As Byron says it's not a planing hull and after reaching it's max hull speed (can't remember what it was) all that happened was lots more noise, smoke and the back perhaps dug in a bit deeper but it would not go any faster.
Save your money and put it into another boat if you want to go faster.

It depends on the model you have, there is a semi displacement type, I.E. no skegs on the underside, and these will get on the plane, if the horses are there, work on 70hp per ton, but if yours is old model with the skegs forget the quest for speed.
