Well for us it will be anchoring overnight, maybe a night passage if the weather is kind, but I'm such a sleep addict that this idea doesn't really appeal to me /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

What about others?

Both of the above are on my list. Done them on other people's boats and worried not! Night sailing is great.

Ostend trip with East coast crowd is also planned which will be a first.

Top of the list is to stop my bilges from filling up with water!

Anchoring overnight is great but night passages are best done this time of year when you can sail 5 hours in the dark (if you really want to)and still get ashore before the pubs shut. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I

Triangle Race sounds good, the stop overs should be entertaining /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

If you do the Bergen race at least there wont be any night sailing.

...not plan anything adventurous, but go back and hope to repeat the 2006 season, with minor improvement tweaks, like taking the fold up bikes ashore and using them.
I will also finally return to Wivenhoe and Rowhedge after a 17 year break.

I'll just aim for the list that we failed to achieve in 2006:

a) Sail further than Burnham on Crouch

b) Spend a night at anchor.

c) Get the cruising chute up.

Night sailing certainly doesn't feature on the list...

Sail to France again. I realised that it is now over 10 years since we visited St Vaast, it would be nice to go back again for a few days.
