Imray Chart Confusion!

Why does Imrays own site offer different charts to retailers. E.g. the coverage areas and codes seem to be different to those sold by chandlers. 2000 range as opposed to C range

Chandlers have different areas and are coded C3 etc for the Solent. Imrays Solent pack at £37 looks a better deal compared to a couple of charts from chandlers at £18 each!

Edit OK the charts have a different size, and the chandlers also sell the packs, I'll have a look at both.

Imray Chart Pack are in addition to individual charts.

This page: http://www.imray.com/catresults.cfm?pubcatid=20&pubcat_parent_id=12 lists their different charts series and explains what each one is. Not sure how you managed to get to the chart-packs pages without going through this one!

The packs only cover certain areas though. I have packs where they're available, but bought a couple of C sheets for visiting France (I later found out that the Channel Islands pack includes a passage chart that will take you as far as Cherbourg).
