Improving the visuals of an engine instrument display

My Bukh instrument display (I suspect it's VDO based) has seen better days. I presume a gentle rub with Brasso or window polish will reduce the milkiness but what about the crazing? is living with it the best option short of replacing the whole instrument or can the clear plastic be readily replaced or repaired?

Yes they are VDO instruments and replacement lenses can be obtained from VDO or agents.

The lenses are eld in by O rings only
