Importing for yacht in transit Antigua

Good day people,

Im sending a crate to Antigua with various things for my yacht in Antigua and was wondering if anyone could give idea of customs procedures, will i have to pay import tax for a yacht in transit ?
Im sending a 2nd hand rib and engine ,new batteries, new wind gen etc

urgh, i'd use an agent who knows who is bent and by how much, and is probably related to the people who will otherwise delay or rifle through your stuff.

Hmm, I have not done this in Antigua, but I do know that Antigua customs are not the friendliest. Seems a rather expensive thing to do, when batteries and outboards can be bought easily in the island and usually tax free.

As the other poster has said, take advice from an agent. Try Antigua Yacht Services (detail via Google).
