Importing a Pelaegic autopilot

Has anyone bought a Pelaegic autopilot and had it sent to the UK?
It looks like a good piece of kit but I wondered about import taxes, handling fees, VAT on all of that etc.

Yes, all of that. Look to 50% - 100% costs on top and you won't know what it is exactly until it arrives, so likely to be £800+. That is the main reason you don't see them this side of the pond and why the manufacturer does not try to sell them here.
