I've been out of touch for a while. We used to be able to put images in the posts. Is this not possible anymore?

and it was a safety issue too.

I'll just have to write a descriptive prose of 500 words or more...

OK, lets try another tack. If you've posted pics before, and if you look around the forums you will know they can be posted. What problems are you having.

Put the pics on the internet in a picture site that allows linking, like Photobucket, then link to them here. If you need more info on how to do that, just holler

Hi Brendan, thanks, yes I know about that but I've never got round to setting it up yet. Life woz just easier before when you could drive your 4X4 to the pub, have a fag and call a spade a spade and eat a bag of crisps without getting a health warning and put yer rubbish out the night before without getting fined and leave the lights on all night without leaving donking great carbon footprints everywhere and just stick yer pictures in the post!

Me 'ed hurts I'm off for a sail....

Fair enough, but posting pics on the forum is the same as its always been, and quick and simple to learn, and in many ways easier now.

Yes, always through a third party pic hosting site. It's always been that way.

Unless you mean avatar picture, which can now be hosted on ybw, but thats a relatively new development

I have noticed that sometimes the picture actually appears in the post, sometimes only if the link is clicked. Depends on picture size I imagine, and the forum's ability to handle it.
The OP may just have been lucky in the past and happened to view images that looked as if they were actually in the post.

Nope it depends how you put the pic into the post either as a URL link which you would need to click or enclosed in [image] tags which would display the pic
