I\'m soooooooo fecking angry

we've had a water leak for ages. just couldn't find where it was, until today. Mr B went into the crew's quarters (access from front deck only) and found the tap had been turned so it was fully opened. there is no way this was an accident. someone basta rd has been on board and done this on purpose. the hatch to the crew's quarters cannot be locked from the outside.

I have my suspicions, which obviously can't be aired on here. but trust me, someone will deeply regret their actions

Roger, I know I'm usually all fun and laughter on here but after the boat was broken into last summer as we slept, this isn't funny

Sorry to hear your news Pauline, in the past 2 years we have had 2 break ins and one act of vandalism and one stoled tender, I got sooo pissed off! I can only imagine how you felt waking up after your break in. I am suprised though as the security at Brighton looked quite good to us, far better than our mooring, I do promise it was not us, we only waved!

I hope you catch the little ##@@& and give em what for!

Marina CTV recordings? Can't remember after break in incident if this option available or not. If not, after these events, I'd be having a serious chat with marina about them installing it.

Brendan, its really weird. There is CCTV. There was footage after the break-in but only available to the police. we were told by the police just after the break-in that they had someone in custody, they also told it to an off duty policeman who lives on the pontoon. This was later totally denied. I've no idea what went on !

This is the sort of situation where a call or letter to your local MP might be of use...amazing what information comes to light when a House of Commons headed letter arrives at police station!

You can also use the new freedom of information act to ask for what used to buried

Why would someone want to turn a tap on other than they probably (and mistakenly) thought it would sink your boat /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Sorry if I'm a bit behind the times here Pauline, and I have picked up from the replies that you have had a break-in some time back. But in a practical way, you have helped me make my mind up about something...

At Porthmadog we don't have a marina just deep water and harbour wall moorings. Madoc Yacht Club has plans to make and sell pontoon moorings and given the levels of vandalism on boats that moor against the harbour walls, I have had my nagging doubts about buying one.

So I'm sorry to hear of yet another unsavoury event for you Pauline - but you have definately helped me here.

My boat is a long, deep, cold, and very dangerous swim for any little yobo - and that's the way it'll stay!!

I do hope that you get the result you want..
