I blooming love these boats, just the right side of retro and beautifully finished if you ask me.

Just a shame they are so hideously expensive - but perhaps thats part of the appeal.

This is the new 45 Corsair - I know its only cgi but if the 36 Corsair is anything to go by it will be stunning. Just a shame it is way, way out of my league. The 36 costs £290k with D6s, so I guess this is probably going to be nearer the £500k mark /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Should have known you would have the scoop. I treally like the current CC range. The Roamer 40 I guess will be replaced by this. €600k is probably about right. Looking forward to being able to scrape anough together for a used one in 10 years time

The designer must be a Gerry Anderson fan

But then if you don't remember the Ford Corsair, you might not remember Stingray either?

Hah, beat me to it! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

It looks good, but a bit pointless compared to a Princess or whatever, with all the extra space a Flybridge affords!?

Or am I missing something??

So are you saying the Princess V class yachts are also pointless?

I guess the point is its a bit more than a white plastic boat (ok, so its a blue plastic boat with wood - but style is something you either like or you dont).

CC boats are beautifully finished inside as well, and though they are retro still drive phenominally

Beautiful, apart from the daft windscreen mullions x2 which i hope they can engineer away. I'd order it in black not blue though

Not easy for me to say this, but for a modern boat looks ok I suppose.

Hmmph. Might look a bit cluttered with aerials and pulpit etc.

Hmmph.

Proper Corsair.

It is very beautiful. I particularly like the narrow side-decks, lack of rails or handholds and the reverse counter fore deck. All designed to eject whichever poor victim one sends forward to the sunpad or to anchor or to moor. Man overboard drills are so much more fun if there is a real person in the water.
