I\'m getting irritated by the MBY advert

I'm getting irritated by the "Subscribe to Motor Boat and Yachting" box that comes up every time I logon. I do subscribe to it. Most boxes that come up on other sites have a "No Thanks" to click and it's never seen again (until the next advert series!) Can this be done Kim.

Me too - YBW is my home page but I am going to change it unless pop-up goes away!!

Once ads get past a saturation point their effectiveness wanes as they begin to irritate the consumer!

Totally agree with DavidJ.
Some free consultancy 'Pop-Unders' don't work very well .
I bet the CPA is mega-expensive - try it on someone else's site where you have to pay.

Would not be to bad if it loaded right. It just says. Special Marine Offer. Or something like that. Nothing else. Well not unless you wait for ages, but I dont wait. Just press the back button. Then coures it's knackered the red flag thingies up. Its just a bloody nuisance. No advertising merit as I dont even know what it's advertising. Rubbish get rid of it.

It should only be appearing once every month if you are logging on via same machine. If that's not the case we'll get it checked.

The majority of us are already subscribers Kim (will now have the freeloading forum onto me and all the benefits of not subscribing). Although you probably have to satisfy the 'Powers That Be' - what's the chance of getting the Sub SUNK!!!

I'm sure if you're in need of ideas we can think of something to replace it.

A nice pic of Pauline will probably do the trick to get more subscribers!!!

Kim, it most definitely pops up every time I log in, several times a day. All on the same PC with cookies enabled. So something wrong

Sorry guys, the expiration time was set wrong - its now been fixed to be 30 days so it won't bug you for a while.

It does it every time. I'm on AOL which although it uses some form of IE browser, I believe it doesn't have the same limiters.
