Re: I\'m Drowning!!

So we need full accounting details H. Breakdown of orders against type of boat, quantities ordered, geographical locations, how many from overseas, VAT refunds from outside EU etc.

Think you're gonna need some accounting software and amuch bigger computer s staff of at least eleven and a bank account in the Channel Islands by the time this is all over

Oh and how many asked you for a VAT receipt.

Re: *message to haydn*

when you respond to the PMs (use cut paste yes, so easy peasy?)

GETTEM TO INCLUDE A STAMPED ADRESSED ENVELOPE

so, hardly anywork for you, for money for RNLI, just bosh the things in the envelopes and stickem in the postbox.

Otherwise, nobody will get their stuff if they live in Lun.

Done.

Re: Can I have an SRi please?

I've asked you into the MD's boardroom as it's my great pleasure to inform you that you have now qualified to choose a car from the fleet list with an 'i' suffix. Of course, it goes without saying that the gold hanger for your jacket is included in the senior salesman package. Well done young man - what did you say your name was, ah yes Mr Ditch Crawler, congratulations young man.

Slight hickup. The man never mentioned VAT and I forgot as it's never mentioned in business. just added to bottom of bill and then claimed back. Dont know if he's registered or not.

bang goes the SRi. £15 then or whatever

Okay, well, look when you send the PM, tellem very clearly

1 How much to make out the cheque for (and if VAT, then £15 or whatever and I'm sure they will unnerstand)

and

2 whether you want an SAE (I think you do). Ask the post office wimmin how much it'll be.

and

3 Your address

Don't think it's a massive problem. It's not as bad as easyjet saying fly to Nice for £5 and then you ring up and its blimmin £100, is it now?

I am much better at handling the shite than that John Watson. It's entirely my fault for the administrative mistake, and the resulting higher than expected prices. I am very very sorry indeed, and offer my humble apoligies.

See? Now, I'll just clean up and disinfect these whirling fans and you call that mate and tellim to get his arse in gear and make sure that they are jolly nice pennants or whatever we have just flogged a load of.

Next week we'll try them on the cockpit scatter cushions, and this time next year Rodney...

Re: scuse me Rog!

if you sendim an actual PM (double click on his poster name, and it will give options) then sendim a brief "ok yes for a penant" then he'll have a list to reply to, and be clear when he's responded to you or not.
