Went Sailing today..

Had a couple at lunch on the Island home now enjoying a beer

Nice day good winds sunshine no rain... Not as chilly as expected...

We do tend to drink after but somtimes a good snif of thinners does the trick!

Do what I do, nick the kids dinghy. Off down to the boat on saturday to take the mast down. Once thats done I'll go off for bimble around the harbour in the dinghy. If I remember to take the leccy fan heater, I'll then go to the pub and spend the night with a full english in the boaters bar sunday morn. Right thats my weekend sorted!

Well, after our jaunt to Weymouth in Fortuna I was thinking I'd like to return the favour . We're taking Kindred Spirit out of the water soon to sell her, but if the dates and weather work out before that then you're very welcome to come for a last sail.

I have some very important drinking scheduled inland this weekend though

Colhel, when I am in need of a fix and dont get out, I start to plan passages. You may have seen the West Country trip thread and I am sure that will happen, one day. If not this yea,r then next perhaps.

Today at work I started a passage to Bahamas timed to get there Christmas 2014. Its not going to happen but its quite fun reading up and making the plans. Somtimes I even learn somthing useful.

Almanic arived today ... just off to check dates for the Poole trip.
