..............but does this fuel gauge simply need fitting between the tank/engine fuel line and connecting up at the dash ?

Seems pretty straight forward if so. Anyone confirm this ? ( /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gifTa)

basically yes (but needs power as well. Note that the model chosen only works for petrol. They have a model for diesel for the plotter that can provide the instrument panel for this system.

I had one of these and they are very easy to fit and well worth the money on a petrol boat. For twin engines I think you will need two, one per engine.

Thanks guys - I might invest in one - despite having two hungry carbs to feed. I will double the displayed consumption figure to give me more accuracy than I currently have. (Tight-wad, I know, but if I try one and it proves useful it looks as though the additional engine sensor should be simple to bolt on for about another £80 or so).
