I\'m annoyed- how are we supposed to pay???

Our summer cruise is taking shape, the charts are mine and getting grubby creases already and I've just been booking flights. I'm taking the boat over to Brest with friend, then SWMBO flies out with toddler, friends wife and their toddler for a fun weekend in Brest. They then leave us to go South. The flights are with Flybe from Exeter to Brest. I paid for the first set using Visa and there was a credit card surcharge- fair enought I thought and paid it anyway. The second booking I did with Switch and was still charged a debit card charge!!! How are we meant to pay- Postal Order? Cash direct into their hands? In Kind?

Rant over.

Has anybody else started planning yet?

Now's not the time to tell you that credit card holder must be one of the party then?

What for you say that the switch card holder must be in the party??????

If your wife has a card on the same account (same card number) you'd probably be OK as long as she has card with her and surname is the same, but still worth checking with flybe.

I have to be doubly careful; wife has passport/some cards in a different name! Certainly keeps you on your toes when making bookings.

we bought a ticket this year for SWMBO's mum to fly here from NZ. Ticket bought in NZ travel agents over the telephone from here.

No problems.....
