Dear Bob, just for you.
What type of idiots will I meet on the gentleman's cruise. Can I escape from Claymore, if they all drink and swear too much, onto a respectable godfearing sailing boat?

Dearest Jimi,

I have never had the privilege of meeting the renowned Claymore but from his erudite writings I suspect he will have a good selection of delicious malts on board. Enough of that and you will sink gently into oblivion.

Darling Bob, I fear you have been misled, Claymore is a terrible man with alcoholic and adulterous tendencies. I see it as personal mission to seek his salvation, hence why I am embarking on this cruise. It is a big task and I ask that your thoughts and prayers go with me in my missionary position.

Yours affectionately
Jimi

Jimi,
Sounds like the missionary position might be very dangerous. Don't forget the good old Scottish saying:

"It wasn't the Black Watch that shagged the sheep, the Seaforths were there before them".

I'm a bit confused about what clothes to bring.
When I mentioned it to Mr. Claymore recently, he muttered something about taking a load of big girl's blouses with him for the weekend.

To sum up then - beating into wind over tide in the Sound of Jura on Friday. Smashin'. It's well seein' the cruise director is the one with the chunky motor-sailer.
