Grandma Thai,s will give you an excellent Thai meal and not at poncy MDL type prices either.Always packed but worth turning up on the off chance.
Added attractions of Gay pub + ladies of the night(The S**p) nearby(Work out the name of the pub yourself and sorry no personal experiences)
Top of Ship Pier and turn left.

'Poncy MDL prices' - don't understand. with the exception of one restaurant, I have never had a complaint about this.....could you be specific please?

Refer only to prices charged at your marinas for mooring/fuel/lift in/lift out/and just about everything else.Recently managed to extract a boat from an MDL marina and the cost to lift off of hard on to transport was outrageous.Far exceeded lift into water.You have captive market in certain areas due to lack of alternatives and or experience of many boat owners.Still as your customers appear willingly to pay your prices how on earth can I comment?
