If you had the choice?

I know I have written on here before about certain boats, and since then have been doing my homework! There are only 3 contenders (well maybe 4, when I see the new windy 45, with hard top) now, the sealine f42/5, fairline phantom 43, and princess 45. Which one would you choose, and why?

Just one other thing, anybody heard of konrad? they are apparantly the only company who produce non-racing outdrives, which can handle more power than 300hp?

Don't really know much about any.
But the Phantom definitely looks the best.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Well, I suppose it depends on whether you need 3 sleeping cabins because I dont think the Fairline offers them but assuming you only need 2 cabins, then I would be thinking like this
The F42/5 is a nice boat and Sealine's quality has improved significantly over the years and it does feature some nice design touches but the boat has been around for a number of years, first as the 420, then F44 and now F42/5. My guess is that it will be replaced in 2-3 yrs and that will seriously affect resale values. Apart from that the styling is, lets just say, distinctive and the finish is maybe a notch below the other two
Separating the Princess and the Fairline is more difficult and that may hinge on whether you want 3 or 2 cabins but in terms of quality, they're about even but I think the finish on the Fairline is slightly classier. Both are relatively new models so should keep their value reasonably well
If it were my choice I would go for the Fairline but I could easily be swayed by a hot deal on the Princess
BTW have you looked at the Azimut 42?

Thanx for all the advice! Why do you rave about brooms all the time?? Did have a quick look at the new 450os, very nice and all, but not quite sure its for me! Also looked at both Az 42, and 46, both very nice, Az 42 a bit too small for what i'm after (but economy is the best yet!), but the Az 46 was great, really spacious! But the Loa was 48', which will increase mooring fees considerably, from what i'm happy to pay for!!
