there are pre-prepared breaks in the lines in a useful location
but no indication as to which line is which
too many turns to just wriggle and pull a bit to aid identification

so how do i make sure i connect correctly to the pump ?

you don't!
just plug it in and then on the s/w config of the pilot it asks you and you help it understand what to do

It doesn't matter which way round you connect it as you set port and starboard in the set-up wizard.

yep may well be hex, i'll put one in
